YARN--World Wide Knit in Public Day- June 18th 2016

I celebrated this by walking the beach instead of the apartment for my morning Knit & Walk that I do each day. This was more difficult than I imagined. Of course almost impossible to take photos of yourself doing this but...
I got down to the beach a little after 6:30am before the gate opens to charge people for beach use. I came with my  bag that had a small baby hat started and a shawl started. Camera in pocket, phone in pocket, small shoulder bag over shoulder with cough drops and spare keys. After 10 minutes of hauling that down the beach I turned around and left the shoulder bag in the car and the shawl. Still not light and carefree but I did need the project and a cough drop, my glasses, phone and camera. Maybe it would be more efficient if I could shove the phone up my ass. LOL

a simply gorgeous day- sand fleas, ducks, seashells, glass. An occasional person to say Hi to- some with headphones! LOL

Then I decided to frame shots with the knit work- a bit hit&miss.

 This last one I had wanted to photo the life guard station but someone was longing in there.

that duck was so tame- just waddled in front of me and popped into the water and bobbed in the waves.

Progress was about an inch in that hour

and I had one pocket to fill- and I did.

 this being my favorite.
